| Comments: Hola, As you can see, I married Elder Jimenez. Nine months after we finished our missions we were married in Gran Canaria, and were sealed in the SLC Temple a year later. We have had four boys
Benjamin is 11, Marcos is 10, Lucas died from a birth defect at 1 year old, and Levi is almost 4 years old. We have visited Gran Canaria, Spain three times with the boys and it takes them about 2 to 3 weeks to speak spanish with their uncles and cousins (we always stay a month). We have lived in Salt Lake City in the home we bought 13 years ago. I still stay at home with the boys (I am very blessed), and Fernando works at a woodworking company that made the new LDS Tabernacle. | Comments: After returning, I worked for a few months and transferred to BYU, where I finished a degree in Zoology - Human Biology in the summer of 1996. I worked as a freelance illustrator, mostly for a software co. in Orem, UT. I started medical school at the U. of Nebraska that fall.
I married Marilyn Evonne Ashby in August 1997. She transferred medical schools from KCOM in Kirksville, Missouri to UNMC in Omaha, Nebraska, where she graduated in 1999, and I in 2000. We had our first child, Giselle Eva Valentine in June 1998 (you do the math) and our second, Zane Elijah Valentine, in April 2002.
I finished my residency in Family Medicine at UNMC in Omaha, and Marilyn finished hers in Pediatrics. I worked in a spanish-speaking clinic, and occasionally covered ERs part time. I am now setting up a private practice in West Valley City, UT. - October 1st 2003 |
